Stephan Boltz & Valentin Hartmann

Stephan Boltzand and Valentin Hartmann are both born and educated in Germany.

Stephan does his diploma as a state certified designer at the University of Applied Sciences in Ludwigshafen.

Valentin’s educational path led him through various fields linked to the furniture industry. His carpenter training gave him excellent technical insight and thanks to his studies at the Möbelfachschulein Cologne he has excellent specialist and business knowledge regarding furniture.

In 2006, Both Stephan and Valentin decided to put their passion together and established the studio to create the high quality of design which are focus and put on the bordbar products.  Their goal is to transformation authentic airplane trolleys into timeless design objects for private & hospitality usage with good versatile accessories, functionality and aesthetic in display.

Bordbar design had won a few awards: Reddot Design Award in 2011, Interior innovation awards 2014, IF communication design award, Green Product Award.

Their continuity works on new designs, technologies, functions, accessories to enhance value of the company motto “Passion Beams”…
