JAKOB THAU

At JakobThaustudio the ambition is to create products that raises the professional, creative and production-related standards. The driving force is a love of good craftsmanship and a desire to explore both new and familiar materials, while combining this with new industrial possibilities. In this way, JakobThaucreate products that are visionary and unusual - but also traditional.

In 2006 he established JakobThaustudio, while he was studying at Danish Design school and has among other things designed furniture for the Swedish furniture manufactures KällemoA/B and EurobibA/B. He is a master from the Danish Design school 2008 and has a background as cabinetmaker. He has his own studio and prototype workshop in the centre of Copenhagen.
